Teemu Salmi
Teemu Salmi, born in Pori, earned his degree in music pedagogy from Lahti University of Applied Sciences in 2007 and graduated from the trombone class of the Sibelius Academy in 2016. He has performed as a guest musician with numerous orchestras and has worked as a teacher and conductor of wind bands across Finland. Salmi has also participated in many recordings and actively composes and arranges for various ensembles. Currently, Salmi works as a trombone lecturer at the Tampere Conservatory as well as a low brass teacher at the Pirkanmaa Music Institute. Additionally, he conducts several orchestras in Tampere and Vantaa.
