Selina Ott

Selina Ott won the Opus Klassik Award in 2021 for her debut album Trumpet Concertos and was the first woman to win the first prize in the trumpet category at the ARD International Music Competition in 2018. She has performed with leading orchestras such as WDR, the Czech Philharmonic, and the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra, as well as in renowned concert halls across Europe.

Ott began playing the trumpet at the age of six and studied at the music universities of Vienna and Karlsruhe, among others. She has released several albums under the Orfeo label and premiered Thomas Wally’s trumpet concerto at the Wien Modern festival in 2021.
