Denise Tryon

American horn player Denise Tryon has performed with several U.S. symphony orchestras and taught horn at various institutions even before her current professorship at Indiana University. She won the grand prize at the Coleman Chamber Competition as a member of the Taiyo Wind Quintet and co-founded the annual Audition Mode horn seminar in 2009, dedicated to audition preparation. Tryon has released three albums and is a sought-after masterclass instructor worldwide. Since 2019, she has been a member of the American Horn Quartet.
