Music courses

Lieksa Brass Week music courses will take place during 24th - 31st of July 2010.

Every year we have the top names of brass pedagogy teaching on Lieksa Brass Week. The Lieksa Brass Week master classes are a unique opportunity for professional brass musicians and degree students. Basic tuition, ensemble tuition and brass septet tuition are available for all students with no age nor level specifications.

In addition to their own lessons, music students on Lieksa Brass Week have a chance to hear concerts of the highest standard. They are also free to follow all the other tuition during the festival.

Closing date for application April 30th, 2010. If there are available places in the courses after the closing date, then applicants will be taken in order of application.

Master classes and basic tuition will begin on Saturday 24.7.2010.

More detailed information will be sent to the accepted students in May.

BASIC TUITION (bt) has no age nor level spesifications. The basic tuition will be in groups and as a private lesson. The course fee is 160 euros.

MASTER CLASS (mc) is intended for professional musicians and students. Master Classes are held in groups and mainly in English. The course fee is 160 euros.
